Useful info for members

...and if you have any other questions, please get in touch and we'll be happy to answer them!

When you joined you will have received an email with a link to the form to complete. Simply fill in this form and we'll review and polish your profile before getting your approval and publishing it to the Orb Directory.

Can't find the email? No worries, please email [email protected] and we'll resend the link.

Use the Register a Visitor form on this page. Please register them before the meeting so the Leadership Team knows who to expect and can make sure they receive a warm welcome.

Where possible, we encourage you to arrange a substitute to attend in your place. You can register your substitute using the form on this page. Please also let your group know that you won’t be there.

If you can't find a substitute, please let us know in advance. We might be able to find one for you!

Your substitute could be someone from your team, a trusted business contact or another person who can confidently represent your business. They don’t need to deliver your usual pitch word-for-word, but it helps if they understand what you do and the types of introductions you’re looking for.

If your substitute is from a different industry from your group's members, they're also welcome to pitch their own business.

Just ask them! You can arrange a one-to-one directly at a meeting, send them an email or get in touch with them using the details in the Orb Directory. One-to-ones are a great way to understand each other’s businesses better and spot opportunities to support and refer one another.

Yes, provided there isn’t already a member representing your business category in that group. If you’d like to visit another Orb group, get in touch with us first and we can confirm whether your category is available.

Suggest a Focus Topic

Got something you’d like the group’s input on?
It could be a challenge you’re facing, a trend you’ve noticed, or something others should know about.

Share it with us below. If it’s a good fit, we’ll turn it into a Focus Topic for an upcoming meeting.

Share your expertise

Hot Topics

Want more online visibility without the stress of creating content by yourself?

We're just started Orb’s Hot Topic Tuesdays, and these short vids are a great way to put your expertise in front of more people.

During an Orb meeting, all you need to do is, tell us: “What’s the hot topic in your industry right now?”

It could be a change, trend, challenge, common question, new technology, new regulation, or something you’re suddenly talking to clients about a lot.

This is the structure we'd suggest:

1. Start with the interesting bit
Avoid a long introduction. Get straight to the topic.
For example:
“The biggest change we’re seeing in HR right now is…”
“One thing business owners need to know about insurance at the moment is…”
“AI is changing website security in a way many businesses haven’t considered…”

2. Explain why it matters
Give us a quick explanation of what’s happening and why other business owners should care.

3. Finish with one useful takeaway
What should someone know, think about or do as a result?

You don’t need a script or to be polished. You're already amazing!
We’ll use the videos across Orb’s social channels and tag you and your business, giving you extra online exposure both inside the Orb community and beyond it.

It’s also a great way for other members to better understand what you do, what you know, and the kinds of conversations they can introduce you into.

Got a Hot Topic? Send it through!
Want to build your profile and be known for what you do best?
Orb members are invited to contribute useful articles, videos and resources that share their knowledge with the wider Orb community. It’s a great way to demonstrate your expertise, help other business owners and expand your reach online.

Blog articles can be published on the Orb website, giving you valuable exposure and backlinked to your own website. Videos may be featured on the Orb website or shared in our member resources portal.

We’re looking for genuinely helpful, practical content that gives people a reason to remember you as the expert in your field.

If there’s a topic or area you’d like to become known as a thought leader for, tell us about it using the form below. You don’t need to have the finished article or video ready yet, just send us your idea and we can take it from there.
