Annelies from Travel Culture

Annelies-Anderson

From the moment I left school and completed my Diploma in Travel, Tourism and business in 2004…I absolutely knew that the travel industry was my calling and to this day I have no regrets! Travel brings so much joy to anyone who decides to step outside their comfort zone and explore all the wonders of the world. I love nothing more than travelling myself, but even more so creating dream trips for my clients.

Throughout my career in the Travel industry, I have worked in Inbound Travel in New Zealand, Wholesale travel in Australia and almost 10 years in Corporate Travel for Flight Centre New Zealand. After a very successful stint at Corporate Traveller where I was fortunate to attend multiple Flight Centre global awards for being recognised in the top 10% of consultants in the world, I decided to take the plunge and start up my own travel brokering business in 2022.

From the day I started as a Travel broker, I have not looked back. The satisfaction I get from creating impeccable travel arrangements for my clients is something I strive for with every trip I am trusted with. Having looked after a wide variety of travel (Leisure, Corporate, Groups, Backpackers, Families, Weddings, Cruises and Tours to name a few), you can have confidence you will be well looked after by someone who is experienced, proficient, patient and is genuinely excited to work with you.

TravelCulture Logo

Travel culture is a team of independent travel brokers, brought together by a shared love of travel and everything it entails. We all have over 20 years experience, we have our own portfolios of clients we exclusively look after, however we work together to support each other and our clients.

We all obviously love to travel, so between us we are continually expanding our destination knowledge and between us we’ve covered alot of the world.

Travel Culture falls under the Envoyage brand, meaning we are part of a global travel network and with that we have access to a broad range of travel tools, products, systems, communities and buying power.

Google reviews for Travel Culture

I have just returned from a conference in Vietnam, PhuQuoc Island. Annelies was exceptional. She booked my flights with consideration for my time and ease of travel. Most colleagues had 3 flight changes and an overnight but I didnt. I will definitely continue using her services
- Jennifer Tapson
Annelies organised a great trip for us to Europe. Her attention to detail and ease of communication made organising our trip very easy
- Wayne Scott
Annelies arranged the trip to Bali for the three of us (sisters). We had excellent accomodation, pick ups and drop offs that worked like clockwork. I would definitely recommend Annelies to my friends and family and would not hesitate to contact her again in the future.
- Dave FitzGerald

Travel Culture FAQs

What types of travel can Annelies help with?

Annelies works across a wide range of travel arrangements, including leisure holidays, luxury escapes, cruises, honeymoons, family travel, group bookings, touring holidays, corporate travel, and tailor-made itineraries. Whether you’re planning a quick getaway, a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon, or complex business travel, she creates personalised arrangements designed around your needs.

Why should I use a travel broker instead of booking online myself?

Booking online can be quick, but it often misses the personal advice, insider knowledge, and support that make a trip smooth and memorable. Annelies combines over 20 years of industry experience with firsthand destination knowledge to help clients avoid costly mistakes, access better options, and enjoy expert support before, during, and after travel—including 24/7 assistance when needed.

Can Annelies help with corporate and business travel?

Yes. Annelies has nearly 10 years of experience in corporate travel, including working with Flight Centre New Zealand and Corporate Traveller. She understands the importance of efficient itineraries, reliable connections, flexible options, and smooth documentation for business travellers who need everything to run seamlessly.

What about family holidays and group travel?

Family holidays, group bookings, and multi-person itineraries are one of Annelies’ specialties. From organising flights and accommodation to transfers, cruise bookings, and coordinating multiple travellers, she makes the process simple and stress-free so everyone can focus on enjoying the trip.

Is Travel Culture part of a larger travel network?

Yes. Travel Culture operates under the Envoyage brand, which means clients benefit from the backing of a global travel network. This provides access to a wide range of travel suppliers, exclusive deals, trusted systems, strong buying power, and industry support—while still receiving the personalised service of an independent travel broker.

Where is Annelies based, and who does she work with?

Annelies is based in Howick, East Auckland, and works with clients locally and across New Zealand. She supports individuals, families, professionals, and businesses looking for expert travel planning with a personal touch. Whether you prefer local face-to-face service or remote support, she makes the process easy and approachable.
